LMAO! Poor Malcolm. Nothing worse than people who mean well but really aren't helping. Almost worth pretending to feel better just to get out of it.
Good one, KR!

I love this story and have always loved this story. Malcolm is the very epitome of patience, and I love how he takes it on himself to see to their emotional needs, not offending or upsetting them, even though he's the sick one. It's sweet, poor fella just needs a break.

Thank you, Mr Smith. I'm glad you liked it. :)

This is funny! I also love tea when I am under the weather, though I do like lemon in mine....not so much the sugar, so Malcolm and I are on the same page here! This is a very clever way to 'drown' Malcolm, and I do like the way every crew member comes by to help, in their own way.
Wonder what Porthos would have brought? LOL
Author's Response:
Thanks, tish! I'd glad you liked it. This story was inspired, in part, by my love of tea as well as tea preferences of some of my friends and family. I figured everyone on Enterprise would have their own preferences. :)

I am not a tea drinker so I feel a great empathy with Malcolm drowning in a sea of unwanted tea. The poor dear handled it with more grace than I could have! A lovely story!
Author's Response:
Thank you, bluetiger!

This is great! One thing I especially like about it is that, though everyone else brings him the tea that they like, Trip brings Malcolm exactly the kind of tea that Malcolm prefers. I think it is a nice testament to their friendship. Too bad for poor Malcolm that it all tasted nasty!
Author's Response:
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

Loved it! Of course, Malcolm the Brit needs tea when sick. Who doesn't? I love the myriad of tea you had the crew bring him and how, together, it all tastes/smells like drowned rat. Bravo... and I think I'll go get a cup of tea myself!
Author's Response:
I was trying to get away from the obvious "drown Malcolm" scenario involving, you know, drowning in water. Glad the tea worked for you!
