Wow, you do have a wonderful gift in building new stories within canon story lines!! This was excellent, in that we could see prior conflict before the time travel, and bookended with more conflict, yet with a deeper connection after, for both Trip and T'Pol.

I do admire the way you tell a tale! This one would have been a great two parter with CC originally!

Author's Response:

I had clear images of CC in mind when I wrote this and I am glad you liked it. I always liked writing stories within canon story lines. Thanks for the review, tishkajaku.

Clever weaving of a new story line within the Carpenter Street original story. It is also good to have access to T'Pol's thoughts of her falling for Trip and that she is concerned for him after the coma and learning of Sim.

Now for being in Spain. That is a great idea....I am looking forward to the next chapteR!

Author's Response:

Thanks, tishkajaku. Sims life made a great impact on everyone's life, including T'Pol.

I love the conversation about Sim, and I absolutely love her looking at Trip on the beach with the child. This is just a beautiful work.

Author's Response:

Thanks, Honeybee. Sims life and death made a great impact on T'Pol. It also made her aware how much she cared for Trip, even when she tries very hard to deny it. The scene in which T'Pol looks at Trip on the beach with the child is one of my favorites too. A scene in Home  between T'Pol and her mother indicates that T'Pol has thought about the (im)possibilties of having childern with Trip. I believe it played a factor in her relutance to accept her feelings for Trip.
