Your ability to write such moving stories is amazing. Normally I don't read story with less than 5000 words as they often tend to be rushed, but since your stories are all connected to each other they work beautifully. You really managed to add a lot of depth to the E2 universe which had way too little screen time in the actual show.
Oh, I could write a whole book on the E2-verse! Now that would be a project.
I identified with Lorian, and with Jon (my own father died far too soon). It makes total sense to me that Jon still wouldn't be over his dad's death, or that Lorian would turn to Jon for solace, and eventually think of him as a surrogate father. A loss of that magnitude-- it changes everything.
Thank you for taking a chance with a shorter story. ;) I appreciate your comments.

Very touching, thank you.
Thank you so much for reading. :) I deal with loss in a lot of my stories, and it was a comfort to me to imagine that Lorian and Jon would lean on each other, and share a deep understanding of their mutual grief.
