I have to admit that I've been putting off reading this one because I found this episode difficult to watch for various reasons. I think this story really pulled the threads of the orignal story together and made it much better. You did a great job of keeping all the players in charactor and it all just felt 'right' reading it. Thanks for taking the time to write it.

This one's definitely one of my favorites, and you've wonderfully captured the atmosphere of desperate hope of the episode itself (which, being a huge BSG fan, was very obvious to me from the beginning) yet handled some of the awkwardness that even showed up on-screen due to the sudden Archer/T'Pol sort-of-relationship. This addition makes the episode make *sense* in a way the screen story alone doesn't.
Thank you so much for writing it.
I've heard that Mike Sussman wrote the episode after reading Ron Moore's still unproduced BSG mini-series script, with Ron Moore's blessing. it's definitely a BSG homage, and I'm glad you think I captured that.
Thank you so much for enjoying it, and I am very touched that it enhanced the episode for you.

You know I really love this story of yours. I think this is the only *hopeful* story settled in the Twilight universe that I know of.
And the epilogue is just perfect, because it shows us that T'Mir exists and that her parents just need to... *create* her in the future.
Thank you! I hadn't planned on the epilogue, but T'Mir just was such a strong willed character she just had to tell her mother that she needs to exist. I'm going to have to write the story where they conceive her in the RU, a prequel to "The Little Miracle" which shows that she does exist in the regular timeline. Thank you again!

I enjoyed rereading this story and that thin thread of hope even as grim as their futures had become. Powerful, emotional, awesome. One of my favorites of all time!
Thanks! I don't really do angst, so this story was a huge challenge. I'm glad you like it. And it reminds me I need to get around to writing the RU timeline hinted at in the epilogue.
