A brilliant little series of mini-stories salvaged from a ghastly episode - it just goes to show that even the blackest cloud can have a silver lining! Your characterization of both Malcolm and Trip is really excellent. Well done!
Thank you! That's the best kind of review I could hope for. :)

I'm always on the lookout for good Tucker/Reed fic, either friendship or slash. This is a lovely combination of serious and not so serious discussions. I particularly enjoyed Malcolm's shopping excursion and the way Trip's taste (or lack thereof) in movies has rubbed off on Malcolm. They've both grown and changed for the better since Shuttlepod One. Great use of that little tidbit of the Frankenstein figurine.
Thank you! I modeled this one after volley's "Freind In Need" series which I absolutely love. I'm glad you liked it and thank you for leaving a review! :)

This was great! I've always been fascinated by the way Trip is so into old movies and things like that, yet he is literally creating new technology all the time. I like how you explored that. I really enjoyed seeing Trip and Malcolm's friendship progress through season four.
My apologies for such a late response! I think I let the reviews for this one slip my mind but I so appreciate you leaving a review!
I particularly liked that juxtoposition of Trip liking old things (like classic movies and the game Go!) with his ability with cutting edge technology since I see that that same thing with myself and my freinds who work with computers and applications development all day.

This is a really great friendship story. Malcolm and Trip have some very deep and revealing conversations.
I laughed out loud at this, Trip grinned. "Well maybe in an some alternate universe I'm not a nice guy. Maybe I'm a life-sucking alien vampire bent on ruling the galaxy assisted by his own army of minions."
What a great description of 'Michael'.
LOL, yes. And not very subtle at that - but I did that on puprpose. :) Thanks for the review and I apologize that my reply is almost a year overdue!

This is just a terrifice Malcolm and Trip friendship fic, with the Frankenstein figure a wonderful symbolic tailsman!
I know it's nearly a year late, but thank you for the lovely comment on this story. :)
