I do like the way you tie in the first and last sentences, which leads the reader to understand the absolute weariness of Archer during this time of great burdens. Even so, we have this beautifully poignant insight he must take in order to keep even the smallest grasp of the Archer who is Trip's best friend and the Captain who has learned to appreciate the unique tie he has withTPol. Excellent read of Archer's emotional journey into Xindi conflict.

Author's Response:

Thanks! I'm glad you appreciated it. And I've very pleased that you liked the exhaustion motif. It was difficult to get across and, in some ways, I think I still could have done better.

Again, thanks!

Nice story. You painted Archers state very well. Liked his musing about his memories and the hints of TnT. Best hint was the one when Jon muses that T'Pol watched Trip every spare moment when he was in a coma. Really liked that image.

Author's Response:

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Hatchery is one of those under-the-radar favorites of mine, a crackjack little episode that is a lot of fun and has a lot of great character stuff in it. So, this was an absolute pleasure to read as you expand very well on the events there - and I really like your Archer voice.

Author's Response:

Thanks! I too really liked Hatchery (T'Pol in a Starfleet uniform and doing the nerve pinch? Awesome!) so it was fun to play with, especially when I watched the ep & noticed Trinneer opening and closing his hand in that final Archer-Tucker scene.

I have an idea about a second "chapter" for this set during E2 but I'm not gonna promise anything...
