Some months after "Terra Prime", Trip and T'Pol are returning from Vulcan after the events of Ember, Spark, Flame. They've buried their daughter, married in secret and are looking forward to returning to Enterprise. On their way, they are kidnapped and sucked into intrigue that will lead them into the thick of the coming Romulan War, and T'Pol will need to lean on Trip as she learns that even Vulcans have family secrets.

The second generation seen in "Seeing Angels" also lives in the MU. Can Trip and T'Pol control their passionate older children in troubled times? This is also a sequel to "A Mirror Cracked."
